2 Straighten your hair
Ensure that you select a temperature setting that is suitable for
your hair.

1 Connect the plug to a power supply socket.
2 Slide the closing lock ( ) to unlock the appliance.
3 Press and hold the On/Off button ( ) until the display screen
lights up.
» The default temperature setting is displayed ( ).
4 Press the ( ) or ( ) to select a suitable temperature
setting for your hair.
» When the straightening plates have heated up to the selected
temperature setting, the stable indication “READY” ( ) is
displayed.
5 The ion function activates when the appliance is switched on,
which provides additional shine and reduces frizz.
» The ion indicator ( ) is displayed.
» When the function is on, a special odor may be smelt and a
sizzling noise may be heard, which is normal and caused by
the ions that are generated.
6 Press the SONIC button ( ) to switch on or off the sonic
function. It provides faster straightening results and perfect
gliding.
» When the function is on, the indication “SONIC” ( ) is
displayed.
» The sonic vibration only starts when the straightening plates
are pressed together.The straightening plates make a rattling
sound when they are slightly in contact, which does not affect
the performance of the appliance.
7 Comb your hair and take a section that is not wider than 5cm
for straightening.
8 Place it between the straightening plates ( ) and press the
ꢉꢍꢂꢔꢐꢁꢊꢄ\ꢆꢈꢐꢓꢄꢃꢇꢒꢁꢃꢉꢁꢆꢖ
9 Slide the straightener down the length of the hair in a single
motion (max. 5 seconds) from root to end, without stopping to
prevent overheating.
10 After 20 seconds, repeat step 8 and 9 until you achieve the
desired look.

12 To re-styling your hair, press and hold - button ( ) for 3 seconds
to switch on the touch-up function.This function ensures the
right result with a reduced temperature and better protection.
» When the function is on, the indication “TOUCH-UP” ( ) is
displayed and the temperature indication ( ) disappears.
13 Press either the + button ( ) or the - button ( ) to exit the
touch-up function the touch-up function and the previous
straightening temperature setting appears.
Note:The appliance has auto-shut off function. It switches off
automatically after 60 minutes.
After use:
1 Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
2 Place it on a heat-resistant surface until it cools down.
3 Clean the appliance and straightening plates by damp cloth.
4 Lock the straightening plates ( ).
5 Keep it in a safe and dry place, free of dust.You can also hang it
with the hanging loop ( ) or store it in the supplied pouch.
