WARRANTY

Applicated Security Technologies, Inc. ("AST") promises to the original purchaser to repair or replace  
with a comparable reconditioned model any AST control module ("module") excluding without  
limitation the any other accessories, including but not limited to the antenna, remote, siren and  
wiring harness, proves to be defective in workmanship or material under reasonable use during the  
lifetime of the vehicle it was originally installed, provided the following conditions have been met: the  
module was professionally installed and serviced by an authorized AST dealer; the unit will be  
professionally reinstalled in the vehicle in which it was originally installed by an authorized AST  
dealer; the warranty information card was sent to AST within 10 days of the original installation date.  
Any warranty returns include a warranty return authorization number issued by AST, original bill or  
sale and be pre-paid shipped directly to AST. After an initial period of 2 years from the date of  
installation, AST reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to charge a warranty processing fee of  
$30.00 USD. AST does not cover the cost for return freight on warranty items, this cost is the sole  
responsibility of the purchaser.  
All components included with the original packaged unit other than the module, including but not  
limited to the siren, antenna and the remote transmitters, carry a one-year warranty from the date of  
purchase of the same. Any warranty returns on components must include a warranty return  
authorization number issued by AST, original bill or sale and be pre-paid shipped directly to AST.  
This warranty is non-transferable and is automatically void if: the original purchaser has not  
completed the warranty card and mailed it within ten (10) days of the date of purchase to the  
address listed on the card; the unit's date code or serial number is defaced, missing or altered; the  
unit has been modified or used in a manner contrary to its intended purpose; the unit has been  
damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, improper service, installation or other causes not  
arising out of defects in materials or construction. The warranty does not cover damage to the unit  
caused by installation or removal of the unit. AST, at its sole discretion, will determine what  
constitutes excessive damage and may refuse the return of any unit with excessive damage,  
including, but not limited to, overloading, moisture and physical damage.  
To the maximum extent allowed by law, any and all warranties are excluded by the manufacturer  
and each entity participating in the stream of commerce therewith. This exclusion includes but is not  
limited to, the exclusion of any and all warranty of merchantability and/or any and all warranty of  
fitness for a particular purpose and/or any and all warranty of non-infringement or patents, in the  
United States of America and/or abroad. Neither the manufacturer or any entities connected  
therewith shall be responsible or liable for any damages whatsoever, including but not limited to, any  
consequential damages, incidental damages, damages for loss of time, loss of earnings, commercial  
loss, loss of economic opportunity and the like. Notwithstanding the above, manufacturer does offer  
a limited warranty to replace or repair the control module as describe above.  
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty will last or the exclusion or  
limitation on how long an implied warranty will last or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or  
consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other  
rights, which vary State to State.

TRANSMITTER FUNCTIONS  
PRESS & RELEASE  
LOCK DOORS  
1 Press and release the Lock button on the remote transmitter.  
2 The park lights will flash and the horn will chirp one time.  
3 The doors will lock and the Starter Disable** will activate. (optional)  
4 The LED will start flashing within five seconds.  
NOTES:  
- If system is in valet mode the horn will not chirp and park lights will not flash but  
doors will unlock. The LED will be one SOLID.  
PRESS & RELEASE  
UNLOCK DOORS  
1 Press then release the Unlock button on the remote.  
2 The park lights will flash and the horn will chirp two times.  
3 The doors will unlock and the Starter Disable** will deactivate.  
4 The LED will stop flashing.  
5. The interior lights will turn on for 30 seconds or until the key is turned on or if  
the doors are locked by the remote.**  
NOTES:  
- If the panic mode was active (horn sounding), the first press of the unlock  
button will turn off the horn and the second press will unlock the doors.  
- If system is in valet mode the horn will not chirp and park lights will not flash  
but doors will unlock. The LED will be one SOLID.  
See Valet / Service Mode section of manual for further information.

PRESS TWICE  
DRIVER'S DOOR PRIORITY UNLOCK  
1 Press then release the Unlock button on the remote transmitter.  
2 The park lights will flash and the horn will chirp two times.*  
3 The driver's doors will unlock and the Starter Disable will deactivate. (optional)  
4 The LED will stop flashing.  
5 Press the Unlock Button a second time within 3 seconds and the other doors  
will unlock.  
* Optional Feature may require additional parts  
PRESS & HOLD  
ACTIVATE TRUNK RELEASE  
1 Press then HOLD the Unlock button on the remote.  
2 The park lights will flash and the horn will chirp two times.  
3 The doors will unlock and the Starter Disable will deactivate. (optional)  
4 The LED will stop flashing.  
5 - Continue to HOLD until the horn chirps again and trunk activates  
6 - Release Button  
NOTES:  
- For safety, the trunk release will not active when ignition key is ON.

TRANSMITTER FUNCTIONS  
PRESS HOLD  
ACTIVATE PANIC MODE  
1 Press and HOLD the Lock button for three seconds.  
2 The doors will lock and the Starter Disable will activate. (optional)  
3 The park lights will begin to flash and the horn will begin to honk.  
4 To turn off panic, press Lock or Unlock buttons on remote.  
5 If no button is pressed, Panic Alarm will sound up to 1 minute then turn off.  
Panic Mode is a personal protection feature that allows you to activate your alarm  
from the remote transmitter. This feature can be used to draw attention to your  
vehicle if you feel threatened.  
PRESS TOGETHER  
+
SILENT LOCK / SILENT UNLOCK  
1 Press then release the Lock & Unlock buttons together.  
2 If the system is UNLOCKED, it will LOCK with no horn chirps and 1 light flash.  
3 If the system is LOCKED, it will Unlock with no horn chirps and 2 light flash  
.
PRESS & HOLD for 3 sec  
CAR FINDER MODE  
- PRESS & HOLD button number 4 on the remote transmitter for 3 - 4 seconds.  
- The park lights will flash and the horn will honk 5 times.  
This feature helps in locating your vehicle in a busy parking lot. It allows you hear  
and see your vehicle from a distance.

OTHER FUNCTIONS  
SYS
AUX OUTPUT  
The Aux output can be programmed for a variety of custom applications. It is  
activated by button 3. Please check with your installation center on use and  
activation for this option.  
IGNITION AUTO LOCKS  
This optional feature can be programmed to automatically lock the doors when the  
ignition key is turned to the on position then automatically unlock the doors when  
the ignition key is turned to the off position.  
DOME LIGHT SUPERVISION  
This feature is designed to turn on the interior or exterior lights of your vehicle  
when the Disarm/Unlock button is pressed. The light circuit will stay active for up to  
30 seconds or until the ignition key is turned to the on position.  
VALET MODE / EMERGENCY OVERRIDE  
This feature will disable or re-enable the system without the use of the remote  
transmitter. When the system override had been activated the door locks and  
trunk features will still be operational however the horn and starter disable will not  
activate.  
Press and hold the valet switch for 8  
Turn the Ignition Key ON  
to 15 seconds (Time depends on  
(Leaving the key ON)

Horn will chip 5 times to confirm Valet Mode / Emergency  
5 CHIRPS = ON  
Override has been activate or 2 times for deactivated.  
2 CHIRPS = OFF  
The LED status light will come on "STEADY" to confirm Valet Mode is  
ACTIVE. The LED status light will be "OFF" to confirm Valet Mode is NOT  
ACTIVE and system is in normal operation mode.

IMPORTANT NOTES  
LOCK, UNLOCK, DRIVER'S DOOR PRIORITY UNLOCK, TRUNK RELEASE AND THE  
AUXILIARY OUTPUTS ARE OPTIONAL OUTPUTS. ENABLING THESE FEATURES  
REQUIRES CUSTOM INSTALLATION & PROGRAMMING. THESE FEATURES MAY NOT BE  
COMPATIBLE WITH SOME VEHICLES.  
FOR SAFETY REASONS THE TRUNK RELEASE OUTPUT WILL NOT ACTIVATE WHEN THE  
IGNITION IS IN THE ON POSITION.  
NOTE: PADLOC AND 2ND CAR OPERATION ARE FEATURES THAT REQUIRE SPECIAL  
PROGRAMMING.  
SOME FEATURES MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL APPLICATIONS. CONTACT YOUR  
DEALER FOR MORE INFORMATION.
