CLOCK TORCH  
BATTERY replacement - Open the BATTERY COVER  
and insert / replace 1 piece AA size battery for the clock  
(inner most of battery compartment) + 2 pieces AA size battery  
for the torch.  
TIME setting -  
Press the TIME KNOB & turn anti-clockwise  
switch on by lifting up the ALARM SWITCH  
Push down the ALARM SWITCH to stop alarm.  
OBSERVE the correct polarities as indicated.  
Light BULB replacement - In case torch bulb is bumt, open  
the base cover by releasing the two screws and  
replace a new 2.4V 0.5A prefocus bulb.  
User-friendly operations of Clock Light & Torch.  
(SLIDE SWITCH on right side of unit):  
Place the SLIDE SWITCH to middle position, the clock light  
and torch are ON instantly by lifting up the unit.  
Put down unit on desk (or any flat surface) to switch OFF.  
You may choose to turn on the TORCH only when lifting up the  
unit, then place the SLIDE SWITCH to lower position  
The clock light and torch are OFF permanently when  
SLIDE SWITCH is in the upper position.
