Accessory overview
1. Stereo
Insert stereo cables to connect the device to a stereo.

Insert charger cable to power on the device.
3. Notification light Flashing blue light indicates the device is visible to other
Bluetooth® devices or is being reconnected.
Stable blue light indicates the device is connected to your
phone.
Stable white light indicates the device is ready for
reconnection.

Long press to enter pairing mode and make the device visible
to other Bluetooth® devices.
Press to disconnect from the currently connected phone.
Press to reconnect to the most recently connected phone.

Basics
To power on the music receiver

Plug one end of the charger cable into the charger.
Plug the other end of the cable into the Micro USB port of the music receiver.
A white notification light illuminates briefly to indicate that the device is
powered on.
The music receiver only works when connected to a power source.
To connect the music receiver to a stereo

Plug one end of the stereo cable into the relevant stereo connectors (Left/
Right) on your music receiver.
Plug the other end of the cable into the stereo.

Pairing and connecting
Before you can use your music receiver to play music through a stereo system, you
need to first pair the music receiver with your phone. You can pair the devices
manually, or you can use NFC. Once paired, the music receiver automatically
establishes a connection to your phone.
The internal memory of your music receiver can save and remember up to eight
pairings with other phones at any given time.
To manually pair the music receiver with your phone

Make sure your phone has the Bluetooth® function turned on.
Music Receiver: If you are pairing the music receiver with a phone for the first
time, the music receiver enters pairing mode automatically. If not, press and
hold the Pair/Connect button until the notification light flashes blue.
Phone: Scan for Bluetooth® devices, then select BM10 in the available
devices list.

Follow the pairing instructions that appear on your phone. If a PIN code is
required, enter "0000".
To pair the music receiver with a phone using NFC

Make sure that the phone has the NFC function turned on and that the screen
is active and unlocked.
Place the phone over the music receiver so that the NFC detection area of
each device touches the other.

Disconnecting and reconnecting
There are three ways to disconnect your phone from or reconnect it with the music
receiver:

Deselect or select BM10 in the list of paired Bluetooth® devices in your phone.
Place your phone over the music receiver so that the NFC detection area of each
device touches the other.

Press the Pair/Connect button.

Smart Connect
You can use the Smart Connect application on your phone to automatically stream
music to the music receiver when the phone is connected with the receiver.
Setting up such an action in the Smart Connect application is known as creating an
event. For example, you could create an event that sets the music player to stream
music to the music receiver every day at a certain time, for example, while you are
taking a tea or coffee break.
Before you can create music events in Smart Connect, you must install the Smart
Connect application on your phone.
To install the Smart Connect application on your phone

From the main application menu of your phone, find and tap Play Store to
open the Google Play™ application.
Tap the search icon at the top right corner and enter "Smart Connect" in the
search field, then tap the search icon again.
Tap Smart Connect.
Tap Download, then tap Accept & Download.
Follow the instructions that appear on the screen of your phone to install the
application.

To create a Smart Connect event

Start the Smart Connection application. If you are opening Smart Connect for
the first time, tap OK to close the introduction screen.

Give the event a name, then tap Create.
Under WHEN, add either the accessory or a time interval, or both.
Under DO THIS, add what you want to happen in your phone.
Under AT THE END, add what you want to happen when you disconnect the
accessory or when the time interval comes to an end. If both these conditions
are set, the actions start either when you disconnect the accessory, or when
the time interval comes to an end.
