Note: The activity LED will also lit up
when a memory card is inserted. It flashes
when accessed.
Installation
Important: The USB 3.0 Multi Card Reader only
works at USB 3.0 speed when connected to a USB
3.0 controller. Otherwise it will work as a USB
2.0 or USB 1.1 card reader when connected to
USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 controller respectively.
In order for the USB 3.0 Multi Card Reader to
work as a USB 3.0 card reader, the driver for your
existing USB 3.0 host controller has to be properly
installed. This card reader will automatically be
detected and installed when connected to the
USB 3.0 port.

Connect one end of the USB cable to the
card reader.

Connect the other end to a USB port of the
computer.

WhentheUSB3.0MultiCardReader issuccessfully
installed, five Removable Disk icons appear in
Computer or My Computer. To access any one
drive, double click the icon that corresponds to
the memory card.

Removable Disk won't appear in Computer
until you insert a memory card into the card
reader. However, if you want all five disk icons
to appear follow the direction below.

Click Start menu, then click Control Panel.
Change the View by Category to Small
icons. It is located on the upper right side
of your screen. Skip this step if Small icons
is already selected.

Double click Folder Options.
Click View tab.
Uncheck Hide empty drives in the
computer folder, then click OK.
RemovingMemoryCards
Memory cards can be removed at any time.
However, to prevent data loss, data corruption
ormemorycardfailure,DONOTremovememory
cards while the Activity LED is flashing.

UnpluggingtheCardReader
Please follow the steps below to safely remove the
USB 3.0 Multi Card Reader from the computer.

Click the Safely Remove Hardware icon
located in the taskbar by the system clock.
Click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage
Device....
When the Safe To Remove Hardware box
pops up, the reader/writer can be removed.

Step 1: Submit your RMA request.
to submit a request to SIIG RMA or fax a request to 510-657-5962. Your RMA request
will be processed, if the product is determined to be defective, an RMA number will
be issued.
Step 2: After obtaining an RMA number, ship the product.

Properly pack the product for shipping. All accessories that came with the
original package must be included.

Clearly write your RMA number on the top of the returned package. SIIG will
refuse to accept any shipping package, and will not be responsible for a product
returned without an RMA number posted on the outside of the shipping
carton.
